Portraits

Not making any promises on starting up the blog again, but I really wanted to share these portraits that I took a few weeks ago. Henry is smiling here, but he is also becoming a pro at pulling a pouty face. Joel refused to sit on the chair without Owl. Sometimes at the end of nap time I will hear him in his room howling; well, owling, rather, because he is saying "Ooooowl! Ooooowl!".

 

Some stats: Henry really likes the color yellow, and Joel likes green and orange. They love "things that go"; Joel is especially into trains, and Henry likes fire trucks and backhoes (never thought one of his first words would be "backhoe" -- thank you, "The Bus for Us"). They are both good climbers at the park. They like pointing out the animals at the little farm, and will talk at lunch or dinnertime about the "gahts" (goats) and "baas" (sheep) they saw.
